How myBase Works
Intuitive Uncluttered User Interface
Basically, myBase allows you to organizes information in the tree-structured outline form, just like the intuitive Windows Explorer. It is easy to add your own info items as sibling or child items. All information is compressed and saved in the .nyf database files.
Powerful & Flexible Info Items
Every info item accepts an RTF text as the item"s default note, and accepts documents/files of any kind as attachments.
Both RTF Notes & Web Contents Support
When clicking on an info item, myBase first looks into and opens the item"s default note, if present, within the integrated RTF editor, or look for and opens the attached web content in the embedded web browser.
Convenience of RTF Text & Webpage Editings
It is convenient to edit the RTF notes with the standard RTF editor and a set of inbuilt editing tools, attached webpages can also be edited with the inbuilt HTML Editor. Any changes to myBase databases are automatically saved.
Powerful Item-Links & Symbolic Links
Links are useful in myBase. Basically, all info items are linked in the hierarchy model, and info item can also be linked with other related info items, so each info item can open up the Item Link list under the outline view. And more, info items can be made into symbolic links that are simply referring to other info items.
Labeling Info Items with user-defined label names
Label is another userful feature. Info items can be labelled with a set of user-defined label names. Label is also something like the familiar "Keywords" or "Tags".
Customizing Tree Icons
Custom Icon is unique. Each database accepts a set of user-defined icons being able to assign to any info items.
