Why just remember the Alamo when you can reenact it? America is a real-time strategy game set in the Wild, Wild West; 30 different missions are available, each with four levels of difficulty. Players control the destiny of a group of people- Native Americans, Mexicans, outlaws, settlers, or American soldiers- and attempt to lead them to prosperity. To accomplish this, players will have to build armies, prepare military formations and battle strategies, form alliances and treaties, manage morale and experience, use the land effectively, and take advantage of their groups" special abilities. For example, Native Americans are the only ones who can swim. Horses play a major part of the game--riders can mount and dismount horses, and players can steal, catch, or trade for horses. There is multiplayer support for up to eight players, including network play.
